Could You Be Earning an Income Using the Net Too?

I bought my first computer in 2003. Not that I wasn't tech savvy because I use computers everyday but I just never saw the need to have my own computer. At any rate, I bought a nice setup and became fascinated with the power of communicating with people all over the world.

I devoured every piece of information I could find about the Internet. It was literally like going to university all over again.

But to think that only 1 year after buying my first computer that I would embark on a mission of building a website and that it would actually do well on the search engines - and then earn a profit... No way! That's just nuts! But it's true!

Driven by my insatiable curiosity of technology and my love of sharing and communicating my knowledge on building and construction I ignored the naysayers and forged ahead.

People are always asking me questions about building and I love to help out. So I thought, "There must be a lot of people asking the same questions."

I built my first site by hiring a webmaster, paying a lot of money, trying to sell a specific product and obtained marginal results with marginal traffic. No fault of the webmaster - he is just paid to build sites and move on to the next.

But I had no control in the daily maintenance and development of the site and its concept. In short, not worth the money. And I paid many thousands of dollars for that site including courses on Internet marketing.

So I continued searching for more answers. I am not a quitter in case you didn't know.

Then I Found Site Build It!

I literally stumbled over Site Build It! while researching on affiliate relationships and knew right away that I had found something very unique, very genuine and was going to give me the tools and skill sets to do this on my own.

That day changed everything. I am miles ahead of where I was on my first site. Miles ahead. And at a fraction of the cost.

You see, in the first instance all I do is share information and educate people. Some leave and never come back. Many are better educated and now can make intelligent purchasing decisions. So I have affiliate relationships that create one stream of income. And there are many other ways to "monetize" a web site that is full of great content.

But by far, the most profitable for me has been Google Adsense.

Why am I telling you this?...

Because maybe this is of interest to you. Do YOU have an idea, a passion, or knowledge on a subject of interest to others? If so, you might want to change your lifestyle and build your own work-from-home business sharing that knowledge with the world.

Since then my Alexa ranking has gone as low as (lower is better) 218,000 during peak months. How did I do this? How can a rookie create a site about building decks and make it into the top 1% of over 56 million sites out there?

Hard work and determination, yes, but most importantly, having the path to success explained simply and with a straight forward implemenation plan. Then add in all the incredible tools that cost hundreds of dollars on their own but are included free with SBI!

No question, SBI was a very smart decision for me. In fact I have just started another site using SBI. Here's why I would not use any other company.
