Swimming Pool Deck Transformed into an Awesome Deck

Awesome Deck

When we got bored with our 24'round swimming pool, we decided to sell it. But what to do with the deck we had built all the way around it?

So, we drew up some plans and 6 weeks later we had the most awesome deck we could have ever imagine. We did it all by ourselves with the help of my son. It is all treated lumber and the diamonds are burnt into the wood then stained over.

The hardest part was, although you can't tell, the angles are not all the same, so, every board had to be measured and cut individually.

We just finished today, but the next phase is putting a 15.5' foot gazebo in the middle of it. It is our quiet place for watching deer and turkey in the field behind us.
