Return and Privacy Policy
Product Returns
We happily accept returns of UNUSED AND UNDAMAGED products.
We do not accept any products which were shipped to you by any one of our web site affiliates because they are not our products. For example, Rockler.com is a web affiliate and a separate company from Ideas-For-Deck-Designs.com. Any products you may have purchased from them must be returned to them even though you may have been linked to their site through us.
The products must be received within 12 months of the PURCHASE date.
We do not pay for any return shipping fees. Also we do not accept any returns from UPS or FedEx unless it is prepaid by you. Please send any returns by United StatesPost or Canada Post.
To return a product that you purchased from Ideas-For-Deck-Designs.com, contact us to request a return merchandise authorization. If you send us a message via our Contact Us page, it should include:
- Your full name;
- A valid email address;
- Your shipping address and telephone number;
- Your Ideas-For-Deck-Designs.com invoice or Paypal invoice number; and
- A description of the item or items you would like to return.
Please include a copy of your Ideas-For-Deck-Designs.com invoice with the item being returned.
We regret that we do not refund our original shipping costs with the return.
Damaged or Defective Items
Contact us immediately if your order arrives damaged or if an item is defective. We will send out a replacement and arrange to have the damaged or defective item returned to us.
Return Refunds
We will issue a full refund to your credit card for the price of any item that you return, if we receive your product return request within 12 months of the PURCHASE date. We do not accept product return requests after 12 months.
We issue your refund as soon as we receive the product back. Please note that your financial institution could take up to seven business days to reflect this transaction. If you have any questions about your return, please contact us.
Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges for returned products.
Cancellations
Contact us immediately if you want to cancel an order. Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern Time. Please have your Ideas-For-Deck-Designs.com sales receipt number on hand when you call. This will speed up the cancellation process.
Although we will do our best to cancel your order at once, our ability to do so depends on when the order was placed and when you contact us to cancel it. We therefore cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel your order before it ships.
If you request a cancellation AFTER you have received the UPS tracking email and you refuse delivery when your order arrives it will be returned to us eventually by UPS. We will still refund your purchase but not the original or return shipping fees under such circumstances.
