Our little Bahamas

I started by planning to build some stairs for my above ground pool... Then I thought it would be useful as a small deck.. not very high just enough to "smooth" the transition to the pool wall.

Then cedar was on sale, and lights on sale, and slowly slowly, I end up with this "double deck" connected with what I call the "bridge over time". I also added some furniture (my own design) made from the "left-over" cedar.

In the evening, deck and pool lights makes my backyard an excellent place to relax. Thanks for the opportunity of sharing with your visitors.
