Backyard Vacation Deck
A Beautifully Designed Deck!
We are extremely pleased with how our new deck turned out.
The idea behind it was to have a place where the entire family could relax doing a variety of things.
We decided a three-tier deck with three different rooms. The center deck would host our hot tub and the deck to the one side would be where the dining area would sit and the other side would be where the chat area/fit pit would be.
The two decks would mirror each other as you look at them from behind and that's what they do. We chose fiberon composite with hidden fasteners.
Did it in a two tone and with a diamond design. Cascading steps come off the center deck and off the dining deck. The chat area has a french door that leads inside. The railings are timbertech with hidden fasteners too.
Very difficult to install but the clean lines are great. We have lights on the posts and in the steps. This project took 3 months of sweat and will reward us with 30 years joy.
